This is a genuine OEM power take-off (PTO) switch for a ride-on lawn mower. This switch engages the electric clutch to spin the blades. This part includes one plastic PTO switch with a push-pull, snap mount and eight terminals. Mechanical switches, such as this one, will break down over time, and will need to be replaced. This is a quick and easy repair. Disconnect the spark plug before you begin. Disconnect the wires under the housing, remove the old switch by pressing the side tabs. Place the new PTO switch into position, reconnect the wires and spark plug, and test your equipment to make sure it is working.
