Anvil Assy. N268388

This is a genuine replacement anvil assembly, not an aftermarket imitation. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with Dewalt and Porter Cable impact drivers. This is the part that the chuck is attached to. An impact driver's anvil can wear down at both the tip where bits attach and inside the housing where the hammer strikes it. If this happens to either part of the anvil, you will need to replace it. Please note, this metal part is sold individually. To complete this repair job you will need a screwdriver set, vice and a crescent wrench or channel pliers. • Remove the housing • Disconnect the light wire • Remove the anvil • Rebuild the anvil assembly • Mate the hammer to the motor • Reinstall the housing
