Trigger switch replace.
This model does not make any parts anymore. This Black n Decker switch was the only one that was 120 volts not battery or 220 volts.
I had to use the reversing switch from another brand of switch and add this one to it. Then cut the trigger down on the sides so it fit in the clamshell. I used a piece of hacksaw blade to do it;not e asy. I drilled a half inch hole in the r side clamshell for the trigger lock button. The old one was very differently made. Wired the new trigger switch and i got no chooch. So i tried putting the leads in a different pin hole on the un marked switch finally it worked. Then the clamshells would not go back the trigger was to big. The wires from the motor needed more room to fit. I cut out the old plastic bits that held the old one in place. I got just enough room.then i used a glue gun and glued it down inside the clamshell so it would not go back inside as i depressed the trigger. Also needed a bit of an old rubber end cap From scrap to prevent further movement behind the trigger switch inside the clamshell. Tested it it works! I also used the glue gun to cover the wires at the switch connections to. Make it more sturdy. I Got the clamshells to fit with the wires in safe pathways. It is perfect now well for me anyway. Awesome!
