This is an authentic manufacturer made replacement part which is specially designed for use with Metabo combination hammers. The carbon brush conducts an electrical current to the armature and motor. Carbon brushes are a common wear item, and it is recommended to be replaced often. For this repair you will need a screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers to aid you.
