Does the lid comes with the handle and thermometer ?

Hello Fernando, thank you for writing. No, the lid is sold without those two parts. The Thermometer Assembly with Tab is part FIX10510719 and the Handle is part FIX16609046. Good luck and have a great day.

Will this lid fit a 22 inch weber Performer? My lid fell and dented so it no longer fits properly. I ask because this says 22.5 (vs 22), but maybe it is supposed to be bigger and the kettle is uniform https://www.weber.com/US/en/charcoal/performer/performer-deluxe-charcoal-grill-22/15501001.html

How to you drill a hole through ceramic coating and not damage the coating and create exposed steel that will rust?

Hello Rodney, Thank you for your inquiry. In order to do so, you would first need 3 strips of masking or duct tape that measure approximately 2 inches by 2 inches. Press all three pieces of tape on top of each other on the location on the outer surface of the ceramic where you intend to drill the hole and then draw a small dot on the top piece of tape where you want to drill the hole. Starting with a smaller bit (usually 3/8 inch), line the tip up an inch away from the guide dot, then while using the drill at high speed, slowly press the bit into the dot and through the coating. If you want to make a larger hole, change out the bits for other high speed bits that increase in size and slowly make the hole bigger. Peel away the tape and you can either use a rubber grommet or ceramic spray coating to keep any exposed metal from rusting. Good luck with your repair.
