Push button ignitor did not work with new battery. Carry over tubes rusted and broken.
Remove cooking grids and heat tents. Use pliers and screwdrivers to push hitch pins from posts on burner tubes holding carryover tubes.
Remove carryover tubes.
Wire brush posts to remove rust and scale.
Insert new carryover tubes onto existing posts.
Push new hitch pins through post holes to secure tubes. The posts are threaded into the burner tubes, are slotted at the top and can be rotated with a screwdriver to adjust the hole height if needed. New metal channels may me different thickness than the old ones.
Replace heat tents and grids.

Unscrew battery cap and plastic nut from ignition module, pull out on bottom of control panel slightly to allow module to be removed.
Disconnect 2 wires from old module, place wires on new module.
Insert new module into panel, secure with nut, install AAA battery and push button cap.

Test for ignition on main burner and then ignition on all other burners. Passed.

NOTE: Measure existing carryover tube channel length to ensure the correct part is ordered. Measure length of the rectangular channel and order the same length. DO NOT measure burner spacing, channel length is the dimension required. The FITS MODELS information is not always correct and I ordered the wrong size the first time. On Performance and Advantage models the burner tube spacing is different for 4 and 6 burners and use different length carryover channels. Compare measurements even though the description says fits 4 and 6 burner models.
