Product Description

This is an authentically sourced OEM caster socket for a gas grill, also known as a leg extender. This plastic socket is sold individually. It is designed for a rectangular steel tube leg, and is what attaches the caster wheel to the grill frame. Where the caster screws in, it measures 1-Inch by 2-Inches. The insert is 2-1/16-Inches from the top to the bottom, and it accepts a 7/16-Inch threaded caster. To attach this socket to the grill, use a bolt and nut (sold separately) to secure it to the metal leg of a cart side panel. Next, bolt in the bottom of the socket.

The caster socket wore out and the wheel kept comming out, decided to replace all 4 of the socket.
Tools used:
Pliers
Phillips screw driver
Mallet (rubber hammer)

Remove the propane tank and ALL the inside part of the grill that may fall or that move.

Start by putting a blanket and tip the grill very carefully on its back and proceeded to removed all four casters (wheels). First I used a screw drive r to remove the screw and nut that secure the socket in place, once the screws and nuts were removed I used the pliers to wiggle and removed the sockets of the grill stands. I carefully replace the new sockets and tap them with the mallet until the casters were in place, next step was to put bolts and nut to secure the sockets, next step was to screw the grill casters (wheels) carefully in place making sure that they are not crossed treated on the new plastic socket until they are secured in place, you may to use the pliers to complete the installation of the casters. Once all four are done, carefully upright (2 people) the grill, once two wheels catch the floor it will try to run away from you!!!

Wheel broke off the grill
I propped up the grill and unscrewed the screw that held the caster socket. I then pryed out the socket and replaced it with part I got from fix.
