This part includes one manufacturer-approved electronic ignition module with a black plastic battery cap. The electronic ignition module is what creates a spark needed to ignite the burner. It consists of two input terminals on the back for the ignition switch and two output terminals for the electrodes. It attaches to the cart on the right-side panel. It is secured with a nut and cap, and then the two wires from the main burner are connected into the back of electronic ignition module. Please note that the AA batteries required are not included.

I purchased from LOWES the Char-broil universal Gas Grill igniter Model #2398782. I see there is 5 igniter plug holes, I plugged the four wires in various configurations and could not get a spark. Does this universal model work for my 2 burner grill? Thank you
