It is an authentic OEM component which is made for Homelite and Ryobi generators. The receptacle is the part that a power cord of your equipment or equipment would connect to draw power from the generator. Use an extension cord intended for outdoor use with a 3-pole receptacle and a 3-prong plug at opposite ends to ensure continuity of the ground protection from the generator to the equipment. It is an identical replacement for a faulty or a missing 120-volt duplex receptacle that was installed on a new unit. Refer to the diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation of the new component. You will need a screwdriver to take apart the housing when performing this repair.
