Product Description

A loose garage door opener belt may slap, sag, or move poorly along the rail. The spring trolley nut works as a belt tensioner, helping hold the belt at the setting needed for normal trolley travel. It can replace an assembly that no longer tightens or has damaged threads or spring pieces. Before making adjustments, close the door, disconnect electrical power, and keep hands away from moving parts. Use the instructions for the opener when tightening the nut. Too much tension can place extra stress on the belt and rail system.
