Will this part repair my freezer that will not stop running even with it set at 0?

You will also need to check the defrost thermostat, the door gasket, the defrost heater and the thermistor. Freezer would not start
I checked for power at the compressor no power there, then I went to the control board and tried to reset it and set the temp. which would not work so I snapped the control board out of the door ordered a new one put it back in the door and the freezer came on and is working fine, the main thing in freezers and fridges that's not running is to check for power at the compressor if you do that first you will save a lot of time if there is power there chances are the compressor is bad. I think this site for there fast service.

high light kept comming on and would stop freezing.
y'all recommened that I replace the control unit in the problem solving area of your web sight. it was delivered super fast. I took a screwdriver removed the old one and installed in the new one. it's ok now. thanks rick
