The multi-purpose blade is for your food processor. It is located on the disc stem inside the bowl. To assemble, take the disc stem and slide it onto the center post, carefully grab the multi-purpose blade by its stem and slide it over the disk stem. The unit will not work unless all components are properly aligned and secured in place. The blade can be cleaned by hand or on the top rack of your dishwasher. If cleaning by hand, it is recommended to use a gentle nylon brush to avoid contact with your hands. If the blades are dull or rusted, these are signs that it is time for a replacement. Never attempt to sharpen the blades, as they are permanently sharpened at the factory and will be damaged if sharpened.
