Product Description

This is a manufacturer approved replacement guide bar designed for Homelite chainsaws. The purpose of a bar is to hold the cutting chain. Having a bent or damaged bar is extremely dangerous and it should be replaced immediately. Guide bar is made out of metal and it is sold individually. Designed to accommodate for a 16" chain only. You would need a screwdriver a wrench set to replace this part. • Remove the housing • Release the chain tension • Remove the chain and the tensioner • Remove the bar and replace it with a new one • Secure the tensioner and the chain • Reassemble the housing and tighten the chain
