My GE wall ovens lower bake element will not heat at all, yet the upper broil element warms slightly as it should... while set on bake. I replaced the thermostat 'range oven sensor', but that didnt correct the problem. Could it simply be the bake element has failed, or could it be at the control board or possibly a relay?
For model number JTP18S0D1SS
Hello Craig, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the lower bake element with a multimeter to see if it is faulty and check the wiring connections for any visible damage or loose connections. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
