The burner clicked but didn't light regularly
Turn off power to the cooktop at the circuit box and shut off the gas to the cooktop. Left off each of the knobs. Remove the grates, burner caps and heads. Using a flat head screwdriver, gently pry up on the white spark igniters then pull the wire from each igniter. Lift the cooktop out of the countertop and set it aside. (Use a wedge under the cooktop in several places in case it slips. The edge is very sharp.) Using the torx driver, remove the two screws on either side of each burner. (You need a Torx driver so you don't strip the screw heads.) This will allow the top of the cooktop to be lifted off. Check the new harness wiring diagram for proper placement. Note: your new routing may differ slightly from the old and it may vary from what is included on the instructions. Unplug the old harness at the two terminals. Lift off the old harness assembly and install the new assembly. The rectangular switch may go in at a 20 degree angle vs. straight. Plug in the new harness at the two terminals. Replace the top. (Thread the igniter wires back through the top before you fasten the burners.) Reinstall the burners and fasten with the Torx driver. Carefully lower the cooktop back into the base. Reattach the spark igniter wires. Seat the igniters into the base so they are level with the bottom of the burner. Replace the burner heads and caps. Replace the grates. Turn on the power and gas to the cooktop.

Spark igniter switches were not working
I removed the burner assemblies, lifted the glass top, and replaced the switch harness assembly. A few things to note: 1) You should plan to replace the burner gaskets and electrodes at the same time. It would make the job easier, better, and faster. 2) the wiring harness runs in a different order than the original, and installs at a 20 d egree angle rather than straight. It isn't obvious, but you'll figure it out. 3) plan to encounter some difficulty with old screws on the burner assemblies. 4) You'll need to gently separate the glass cooktop from the base.
