chute flange keepers were worn they would not stay in place the tabs that hold them in place were broken
i replaced all three in about 15 minutes I first had remove the chute positioner then remove the chute install the flanges . then i repositioned the chute and secure it in place by locking the chute on to the snow blower with the flanges.
