After 8 years the impeller wouldn't throw snow anymore.
I spent $ 100. on assorted parts in the impeller drive area, none of them helped much. So I took off the lower pan and found that the pivot arm's (spring at the lower end & idler at the top) travel was resticted by a welded on u-bracket. So I ground it down where the interferance was & wound a strip of gorilla tape around the idler pulle y to increase it's diameter & voila ! It blows like it always did.
