does this connect the bag to the vacuum outlet?

Hi Arpee, thank you for reaching out. No, the tube insert does not connect the bag to the vacuum outlet. The tie cable, part number FIX8816373, attaches the bag with a vacuum. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
