Water leak in the tube from the filter to the water valve
Pull out the refrigerator, then remove the cardboard cover at rear base. Unscrew the pink tube at the water valve (lower right side, when looking from the rear). Then remove the shelves from inside the refrigerator. Remove the right shelf bracket at rear, so that you can take off the plastic channel that hides the water tubes. Take out th e light bulb at the top, then remove the screws holding the filter assembly to the top. I also took off the control assembly that runs across the top (that contains the light bulb socket), so I could more easily access the water lines where enter the filter assembly. Now the hard part: pulling the water line out of the filter assembly. There's no screw-in fitting at this end: the tube passes in through a little blue ring that holds an o-ring in place around the tube. It really does just press in, but after 10 years, it might as well as be glued in place (oh why didn't they use a screw fitting on this end too!). If you break the little blue ring, it won't hold a seal -- the worst case is you then replace the water filter base assembly (into which the water lines feed). Pull out the old tube from behind the fridge; feed in the new one; attach the new one at the water valve (screw fitting, very easy), feed the tube across the rear, then up into the refrigerator compartment, pull it through, push it into the water filter base assembly (assuming you've replaced the durn little blue rung that broke pulling the old tube out), and put everything back together. Except for the pulling the old tube out of the water filter base without breaking parts, it's actually a pretty easy repair.
