Ice Maker Stopped Working
I replaced the water valve and that didn't fix the problem so I ordered a ice maker, the ice maker came in and I founded out the wire connection/connector was reversed so I cut the connector off the old ice maker and reattached it to the new ice maker, plugged it in and now I have ice again. Over all it was easy and would have been compl etely easy if I haven't had to cut the wires and make the connection/connector right.

Icemaker was not making ice. There was no water or ice in the icemaker ice mold.
I replaced the dual water inlet valve, but this did not fix it. I was about to replace the icemaker, when I noticed slight condensation on the tube that supplies water to the icemaker, so I tried defrosting the freezer. I removed all the food from the freezer, turned off the thermostat for the freezer, and allowed it to defrost for about 45 minutes. After doing this, the icemaker worked fine.

The valve was sticking and intermittently working
This was pretty straightforward really. Just remove the existing unit from the bottom left side and cut the three water lines right where they enter the old valve (for the water dispenser on the front, the ice dispenser valve is on the right while looking at the back of the fridge). The water lines just push into the new valve with no tools. Re-attach the same way you removed the old one and you should be in business.
