Product Description

The door lock assembly is a genuine OEM part for your washing machine. This part informs the washer that the door is closed and locked in place, which allows the machine to start its cycle. If you are not able to open or close the door, or the washer will not start, the door lock assembly may need to be replaced. This can happen if the switch has shorted out, which will prevent the latch from locking. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your washer. You will need a Phillips screwdriver in order to replace this part.

I basically followed the video instructions which made it very easy to understand and follow. The most difficult aspect was disconnection the wire harness in a small space.
