As the ice maker is making ice cubes and preparing to kick cubes into bin it will begin to make a knocking sound intermittently. Would a dirty filter cause this?

Hello Darren, thank you for contacting us. A clogged filter, part number FIX3412266, can be a cause of the issue and we would recommend replacing it if it is due. Also, check the auger motor, part number FIX10057235, and the ice dispenser drum, part number FIX1526412, to make sure they are not the source of the knocking noise. Do you carry water filters for this model? We formerly received yearly filters for our refrigerator. Have moved to another state and would like to resume these deliveries. Formerly received FIX3412266. Unsure if this will fit the Frigidaire refrigerator in our new home.
