No heat when oven on I metered cooling fan sensor no ohms.
I bypassed sensor have heat in oven .then put sensor by a electric baseboard heater for 10 minutes metered sensor have 10 ohms is it sensor or ?
For model number 79048789901
Hello Paul, Thank you for your inquiry. The oven temperature sensor should be tested a room temperature and should read between 1000-1100 ohms. If it does not, then the sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced. An oven thermostat, should read 0 or close to 0. Any other reading, and it will need to be replaced. Good luck with your repair.
My oven wouldn't heat up the baking unit or broiler.
With a meter checked all the power sources and found the problem called and ordered the part and in two days my oven was working again. Fast service getting my part to me.
