Old element broken
Replaced with new element. However packaging had no instructions. It was just in a box. Fortunately YouTube was able to have a video that helped me with the installation. However in time the old clips came off and new element attached. So far so good.

The broiler element stopped working.
I removed the old broiler element with a ratchet wrench and installed the new broiler element. They looked identical which is great for a 1950's oven. It took a little maneuvering to fit it in correctly but it works great! It saved an old range and works perfectly.
