Wiring Shorted Out
Pulled insulation another 1/2 down. The prongs looked different than the previuos burner I installed. I figured out I had to straighten the prongs. They were bent at 45 degree angle. After that, smooth replacement. Connected wires and clamped ceramic box. Then, screwed in the bracket. So far, so good

Fit Perfectly
Our Stove is over 35 years old and I was concerned if parts were still available to fit it. It is an old GE brand and I had ordered a Burner that looked like it was the same thing but when I got it I noticed the terminals were different so I had to return it. I had to pay for shipping it back but got credit for the return. The new part even came with ceramic insulator clamshells to replace the old ones.
