Dose the element control the temperature ?
Mine stays on high only the front burner

Thank you for your question. The burner switch controls the temperature for the burner. If you set the burner on a low temperature and the burner immediately goes to a higher temperature, the issue is likely the burner switch, but you should also check the element as well.
