The timer knob broke off. I have the knob(I'll still get a new one), but I need the part it fits on to. How do I find that part number? Does it require the entire timer switch?
Thanks

Dryer timer replacement
Easy job, but take your time and work carefully. Twist the old timer off keeping the wire connections. Twist on the new timer and transfer the wires one at a time. Wires are on tight so you might need pliers.

It was as easy as everyone says, few screws in the back to get to the timer, unplugged the wires 1 at a time and plugged
