The small section of the burner would not heat.
FIRST TURN OFF THE POWER! After turning off the power, open the top oven door and remove the two small screws under the edge of the range top. Lift up the top and prop it up (I used a piece of wood). Take a picture of the wiring before removing it from the old element. Remove the two latches on the sides of the element by compressing them with your thumb then popping them off the element. Note the number of the hole they are in. Install the new element by popping the latches back on, connect the wires, install the screws, turn the power back on and enjoy.
