The purpose of the Manifold Assembly is to control the air pressure coming from the tank to the desired level. This Assembly includes the regulator body, two gauges, two brass fittings, and a regulator knob. If your compressor will not build pressure, or air will not flow to the hose, you may have a fault Manifold Assembly. It is made of durable metal and plastic components and is sold individually.

Removed motor cover and motor to gain access to to the regulator. Removed the regulator and installed the new one. Replaced the rubber hose that was cracked. Reinstalled the motor and cover. Run the compressor to check for leaks. All was ok.
