Product Description

This ice bucket auger is a genuine OEM replacement part for your refrigerator freezer section. The auger rotates and separates the ice in the bucket. To replace it, start by pulling out the ice bucket assembly. Remove the cover, shield, and actuator arm bracket using a Phillips head screwdriver. Unhook the spring holding the arm in place to remove the arm. Use your screwdriver to pry off the e-clip and washer. Use a wrench to detach the auger from its housing. This part includes the auger only, not the assembly or housing.

Wasn't sure of disassemble order
We ended up finding a YouTube video on how to replace the auger. I had read other replacement tips on things like, "put everything on the counter in the exact order that you take them off, and that the thread was a left-handed thread". Those were helpful but taking apart the ice maker tray itself wasn't as obvious as I thought it would be, so the video was the key to success!

Removed 4 screws . Removed broken auger. Installed new auger. Reinstalled Ice bucket in refrigerator. Job finished.
