Why does water leak out of the water inlet part number W11535094 on the side of the dishwasher when the dishwasher is operating

Hi Bud, thank you for reaching out. If water is coming specifically from the sides of the water inlet valve, the likely cause is a failed seal/gasket or a crack in the plastic inlet housing. The valve is under water pressure during filling, so a damaged seal, cracked housing, or loose connection can allow water to escape from the side rather than through the intended water path. Replacing the faulty water inlet valve, part number W11535094, can help fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
