How do we get the elbow hose only to the pump?
For model number GDT645SFN0DS
Fix.com logo
Hi Keri, thank you for contacting us. To get to the elbow hose, follow these instructions: 1. Turn off the power and shut off the water supply valve. 2. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink and unthread the two screws securing the lower access panel and toe panel to the frame. 3. Unthread the screws securing the junction box cover and detach the cover.  4. Unthread the screws to release the black and white power wires from the right side of the terminal block. 5. Unthread the screw to release the grounding wire as well.  6. Now depress the retaining tab and slide the junction box to the left to detach it from the support bar. 7. Next, open the dishwasher door and unthread the two screws securing the dishwasher mounting brackets to the cabinet or countertop.  8. To move the dishwasher, you may need to thread the legs further into the base to lower the appliance.  9.  Now gently pull the dishwasher away from the cabinet, then tip the appliance back so it rests on its rear panel.  10. Break the two pinch clamps to detach the old suction hose.  11. To install the new wash pump suction hose, first align the provided pinch clamps over the ends of the hose. 12. Attach one end of the hose to the sump port and the other end to the pump port, and then tighten the clamps.  13. Return the dishwasher to its upright position, reposition the insulation as necessary, and confirm that the end of the drain hose is accessible through the cabinet wall.  14. Then gently slide the dishwasher back into the cabinet and extend the front leveling legs if necessary. 15. Rethread the screws to secure the mounting brackets to the cabinet or countertop, and feed the power line wires through the rear of the box.  16. Realign the junction box on the support bar and slide it right to snap it into position on the retaining tab. 17. Realign the black and white power wires on the appropriate terminals on the right side of the terminal block, and thread the screws to secure the grounding wire to the junction box with the screw.  18. Reposition the junction box cover and replace the screw.  19. Now realign the toe panel and insulation, then reposition the access panel, and thread the two screws. 20. Attach the drain hose to the sink drain and reattach the water supply line to the water supply valve. We hope that helps!

Hi Anthony, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the issue seems to be with the check valve, part number FIX12741243. This prevents drain water from flowing back into the pump sump. We hope this solves your problem!
