RESERVOIR W11361728

Hi. I have a JennAir refrigerator model JFC2087HRS. I found a puddle of water under the fridge and found that the water valve was leaking at the connection for the tubing to the water reservoir. Between the green valve body and the blue release tab. I replaced the valve and the new one is leaking at the same connection. I then cut back a little bit of the tubing and reinserted it. Same problem. I noticed a little bit of abrading on the tubing. Could this be causing the problem? I do no have enough tube length to cut it back any farther. If that is the problem, is there a way to splice in a new piece of tubing or do I need to replace the whole reservoir unit? I do not have any other leaks and I still get a little bit of water at the dispenser despite the leaking, which is considerable. The filter was replaced in January and the water was dispensing just fine before the leak at the valve. Thank you.
