If the upper rack on your dishwasher has become difficult to slide in and out, you may need to replace the slide track. This genuine OEM part is for the right side of your appliance. The left or right side is determined based on facing the machine. If you need to replace both slide tracks, the left-hand one can be purchased separately. The purpose of a slide track is to support the dishrack and helps it open and close easily, so it is important that they are functioning properly. To replace this part, you will need to pull the dishwasher out from under the cabinet to access the screws holding the rails in place. Be sure that you have enough slack in the power and water lines to allow you to pull the appliance out approximately 18 inches, otherwise be sure to disconnect them from the dishwasher.
