always on high heat, no control of temp.
only need screw driver to open unit, two screws hold switch in place, be sure to note position of wires on the switch, easy repair

rh lower burner would not go to smaller coil burn, stuck on full burn.

max heat regardless of control setting
I turned off breaker and removed cooktop. I removed screws around perimeter and removed glass top. I removed screws on each end of control panel. I removed screws for the control being replaced. I removed one wire at a time from bad control and connected it to the corresponding terminal on new control. I reassembled the cooktop and tested before reinstalling it.
