Gearbox Asm 753-06882

It is an authentic manufacturer-sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Craftsman Trimmers. The Gearbox Assembly contains the gears that turn the line spool for cutting. The most common reason for replacing the gearbox assembly is if the trimmer head is not spinning or there is grinding noise coming from the trimmer head. The gearbox assembly includes 3 screws, mounting hardware, Cap, and the Head assembly. Tools that you will need to replace the gearbox assembly are a Small screwdriver or hex wrench, Phillips screwdriver and a Socket/Ratchet set (or wrench set).
