I think that I need the main control board for my Electrolux washer (bought in 2017). The drain pump seems to be working fine. Ran a clean washer cycle and worked perfectly. When turning on the washer, it displays 1 minute and wants to start a cycle. We have to hit cancel and select the cycle. Now it is totally skipping the spin on a normal cycle. After a normal wash, the clothes are dripping wet so we have to run a rinse & spin cycle, deselect the “extra rinse” and it will spin and drain. I’m not sure if this is the correct part. Any help is appreciated!

I replaced this control board in my washer as suggested. The machine still does not initiate a spin cycle. In order to spin dry my clothes, I have do another cycle of rinse & spin but deselect the rinse. Is there a special task that must be run after the install of a new main control board? I’ve already tried disconnecting for 2 minutes and factory reset.

Thank you for your question. The main control board should not need to be programmed. If you have replaced the main control board and the washer will only spin when you do another cycle of rinse and spin, there may be another part that is contributing to this issue. We recommend checking the lid switch, the belt and the electronic control board that is found behind the control panel. If replacing the control board is not resolving this issue, then we would recommend checking the knob assembly, part number FIX11766016, and the motor control, part number FIX11766139. The knob assembly and the motor control board are controlling the cycles in your washer. We hope this solves your problem!
