Read more , only about four inches, there will be two wiring harnesses that you need to disconnect to release the top. Find a flat surface and remove the burner top and lay it upside down on it. You will now see a metal heat shield covering the burners, this is held on by 4 screws, remove them and lift off the heat shield off and turn it over as to remove the defective burner, I took a picture with my cell phone so it would show the wiring routing, unplug the wires carefully they are very tight. the burner is held in place with small clips. Release the clips and transfer them to the new burner. Just follow the hole placement that's numbered,39 clip goes in hole number 39. Reverse the removal and all should work....

Watched a youtube video on the exact model before ordering parts from part select. Very simple repair. Anyone who can use a phillips screwdriver and needlenose pliers can make this repair for the cost of the part saving the expensive service call charge. There seems to be a youtube for just about everything these days!
