Product Description

Water that fills your dishwasher lifts this float. When it reaches a certain level, the float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher.

there was no water entering the dishwasher.
Looked at the trouble shooting and part sugested was spot on. Turned of power to dishwasher and removed four screws on lower front of panel and removed panel exposing faulty switch. Removed one srew and slid two contact wires off and replaced new one in total of fifteen minutes. Was going to replace machine but for eighteen dollar part we are up and running.

Water entering machine while door open and power off.
Turn off breaker to appliance, remove electrical contacts, remove two screws. Install in reverse. It's that simple however I needed another part to fix the problem..ie (water inlet valve).

Shot out water at beginning of wash cycle
Took of front panel on bottom. Float located on left hand side. A little tight to get to but was a easy fix. Removed old float and installed new.
