Surface Burner Valve - Left Rear WP7502P499-60

This is an authentic OEM replacement part. This surface burner valve is designed for use with ranges, specifically this is for the left rear burner. This valve works to control the supply of gas to the burner. When the ignition circuit is open and the ignitor is hot enough the gas will begin flowing through this valve and be lit by the spark. This part works to balance the burners need for gas, while also ensuring too much gas is not flowing into the burner or building up in your appliance. This valve is green tipped, and it is sold individually. To replace this part you will need basic hand tools. Before beginning this repair unplug your range and shut off the gas supply.
