Drain Pump Inlet Flapper / Baffle

So easy to do this anyone can do it. 1st take the bottom rack(s) out, flat rack simply slides out, but you'll need to pop the end caps off the tracks to allow the rack to come completely out. Read more ng it with a towel or use a wet/dry vac. Next: holding the sprayer with one hand unloosen the plastic topped screw with your other hand and set the spray arm & screw aside. Now using a Torx type bit loosen and remove the 3 screws on the filter plate (careful not to lose them because they are stainless steal make, sure you set them in a safe place while working on your dishwasher). Now remove the six screws on the "outlet" and gently wiggle it away from the water distribution assembly. Next loosen the impeller screw and lift impeller off and accumulator filter, you should see the rubber (orange) baffle to the right. simply lift it off and put the new one on. That's it. You're done (except now you get to put everything back). How I discovered what was causing this issue (after checking the drains to make sure they weren't plugged) I took the baffle out to see if my dishwasher would drain in it's absence and it did. This is a very inexpensive fix. Try this before assuming it's your pump or something more expensive. I never would've thought this little rubber thing would cause this especially since it still looked to be in good shape and still very pliable, But it was the culprit.
