Washer would not drain. All electronics worked chiming worked so I knew something was wrong with the pump.
I pulled out the washing machine after I had drained out all washer water left in the bottom of the washer, then I found the old pump, unscrewed it, and unhooked it. noise in pump mode. Broken impellar from foreign object. out of balance when pumping.
very easy to install new pump. Hardest part was pulling machine out from cabinet. Use a shop vac. to pull excess water from pump and hoses.

My machine would not drain and was giving an error code
Took off the back panel, slid the hoses off the drain pump, unscrewed the bracket that was holding the drain pump, unscrewed the drain pump from the bracet, placed the new drain pump on the bracket, replaced the bracket, replaced the hoses, turned on the machine and everything is working wonderfully. my old pump had sucked coins into it and it wouldn't drain any more
I took the back plateo ff my washer took the electrical c onnection lose. Released the hose clamps pulled t he hoses off Unscrewed the metal plate that attaches the pump to the washer. Unscrewed the screws that hold the pump to the plate and switched pumps.

drain pump replaced
Removed the back panel then three nuts that held the drain to a plate attached to the floor of the washer. It made things easier to work on. The new drain has a plastic attachment that the hose attaches to, i had to remove and use the old plastic because the new one would not fit the floor plate. Once i got that transferred to the new mo
