My refrigerator stopped cooling but freezer remained somewhat cool. ToOk the back panel off in the freezer and noted fan not to be running.
I have absolutely no experience in fixing refrigerators. I am a nurse. I followed your video and all I needed was a 1/4 nUT driver. It was a simple installation. Took longer to put the panel on and hook up ice maker than it did to install the new motor. Thanks for the great video, I saved alot of money fixing it myself.

Freezer works but Frig is warm
To verify that the fan motor is bad, check with a volt meter for 120VAC at the connector to the fan. If there is 120VAC check the resistance through the fan motor, if it reads open the motor is bad. Inside the freezer, remove the ice maker and back panel to gain access to the evaporator fan motor. Remove the fan assembly, pull the fan

off the fan motor, it is on tight but will come off. Before installing the fan assembly, plug in the connector and turn on the frig to verify the fan works. Remount the fan assembly, back panel and ice maker.
