The Lid on washer would not trigger the washer to operate.
First unplug the washer, remove the back of the control panel which is held on by 4 screws. Locate the lid switch and unplug the wiring harness. Slide the Lid switch forward and it comes out. Slide the new switch in, and slide it backwards into the slots, and reconnect the wiring harness, put the rear cover back on and plug your washer ba ck in, and your back in business. This is a quick and easy repair, for anyone.
