Touchpad didn't work properly.
Remove d/w front panel (8 screws around back). Disconnect touchpanel electrical connector (1 plug). Remove touch panel (1 more screw). Install replacement touchpad in reverse order. Nothing to it.

Control panel malfunctioning
First try was to replace the control panel. Problem wasn't fixed. Returned the control panel and ordered the control board. Installed the control board and problem was corrected. Repair was easy but go soft on the removal of the old parts. Lots of delicate plastic clips. Lower plastic bracket that is behind the wiring harnesses needs to b e unclipped and folder down on it's hinges prior to unplugging any of the wire harnesses.
