Makes loud buzzing noise finally unplugged and stopped been weeks and still makes noise when I plug in. Want to make sure I order correct part.
For model number Jgp970sek2ss
Hello Jose, thank you for your question. The buzzing noise you hear means that the cooktop lock is engaged. The best thing to do is just unplug the cooktop or flip the breaker to the cooktop off for 24 hours and allow it to dry out. If it doesn't reset after 24 hours, the switch needs to be replaced. The switch is part of the entire switch harness, part number FIX11721440. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. Hope that helps!
