Product Description

This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Sun-Stream. This safety mechanism is used in heaters. Essentially the photocell assembly is a little camera that sits behind the burner body on the back of the chamber assembly. The camera monitors the flame, when it senses there is no light it signals to the pump to turnoff. This means if for some reason the flame goes out the heater will shut down; this helps ensure you are not getting a build-up of fuel in the combustion chamber. This photocell assembly is sold individually.
