Product Description

This is an authentic OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from Skil. Carbon brushes are used to transfer electrical current into the motor of your miter saw. They are in contact with the spinning armature, so over time the friction wears the brushes down. You should replace both brushes at the same time. When replacing them we recommend you also inspect the armature, if you find any burns, cracks, or other signs of damage this may indicate there are bigger issues with motor. This set includes two carbon brushes, with the lead wires attached. You will need a screwdriver to successfully install these replacement parts. Before you start any repair on your miter saw make sure you have unplugged it, this will help avoid any accidental start-ups.
