This is a specially designed replacement switch made for Metabo angle grinders. Switches are one of the most commonly replaced items in power tools. They play important role in handling on/off operations of a tool. Because they have mechanical internals, they will eventually break down requiring replacement. This switch has a plastic body and it is sold individually. Please note the electronic control unit is sold separately. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver. • First make sure the unit is not plugged in • Then you want to separate housing pieces by removing screws • Disconnect wires from the old switch • Replace old switch with a new one • Reconnect wires • Reassemble and test the grinder
