Product Description

Frequently referred to as a Gas Valve, Control Valve, or Governor, this Threaded Regulator Assembly is an OEM approved replacement part for various Coleman Grills. To ensure this part is compatible with your grill, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. The purpose of this part is to allow only a certain amount of gas to the burners by controlling the gas pressure between the supply and the grill. Over time, the pressure exerted on the regulator tends to cause it to wear out. If your grill is not receiving propane, you are either out of fuel or need to replace the regulator. To replace the regulator no tools are required. Each Regulator is sold individually.

Gas restriction too great to allow grill to light.
Close propane bottle valve. Unscrew old regulator from back of grill and from hose to propane bottle. Attached new regulator in reverse order of removal. Open bottle valve and test operation. Channel lock pliers may be needed for removal if connections are too tight.

missing regulator
I bought a Coleman travel/camping grill knowing that the regulator was missing and thinking I can easily go to WM and replace it relatively cheaply. After three days of searching it finally showed up on this website. I did find it on 2 other websites, but their prices (nearly double) would've made the total price infeasible. I now ha ve this website saved in my favorites as I frequent estate sales and am always looking for the good deal/quick flip. Shipped quick!!

Wife bought yhe grill with no regulator, purchased the regulator and put it on.
1.) Recieved the package.
2.) Opened the box.
3.) Removed the regulator from the box and screwed on the regulator fitting to the stove. Do not cross thread it.
Made sure it was tight then installed the gas bottle.
4. Opened up the bottle rest ans set the bottle on it. Thoe bottle will be on a slight angle with the regu lator up above the bottle.
5.) Lit the grill and enjoyed my food.

the regulator was inside grill for travel and after 2000 miles of bouncing it just went bad
just screwed into back of grill and was done
